Intuitive End Limits: The motor incorporates traditional end limits set by two standard screws, offering an intuitive approach to setting the maximum extents of roller shutter movement.
Obstacle Detection: When used with the AS1310 or AS1315 accessory, the JE50FCM motor provides an obstacle detection function, offering a safety feature that prevents damage to your roller shutter’s slats by allowing the motor to rotate freely upon encountering an obstacle.
Compact Option for Smaller Shutters: The JE50FCS, a compact version of the JE50FCM motor, delivers the same powerful performance in a smaller form factor. This makes it an ideal solution for small or tight roller shutters.
Operating the JE50FCM motor is a straightforward process. The motor is most commonly controlled by an interior wall switch, often a rotary switch, allowing for easy control of your roller shutter’s movement.
To open or close the roller shutter, simply turn the rotary switch in the desired direction. The JE50FCM motor takes care of the rest, smoothly moving your roller shutter to its upper or lower limits, as set by the screws on the motor head.
If your motor is equipped with the AS1310 or AS1315 accessory, your roller shutter will also benefit from obstacle detection. If the shutter encounters an obstacle while moving downwards, the motor will immediately stop transferring rotation to the shutter’s axle, turning freely instead. This feature protects your shutter’s slats from potential damage.
Remote Control Flexibility: The JE50R4SH motor allows settings management from any R4 remote controls. This provides the user with ease of operation and adjustments from a distance.
Automatic End Limits Setting: If your roller shutter is assembled with a rigid spring and end slats with stops, the JE50R4SH motor can automatically set end limits. This ensures optimal functionality without manual intervention.
Obstacle and Resistance Detection: This motor comes equipped with obstacle detection on the descent, which can be activated or deactivated as per installation requirements. Additionally, it can detect ascent resistance due to slat displacement, anti-lift locks, or being blocked by ice, thus providing enhanced safety measures.
Multiple Pre-set Points: The JE50R4SH motor creates three automatic intermediate points and one user comfort point easily programmable by the remote control. This allows users to set preferred shutter positions.
Multiple Remote Control Capacity: The motor can recognize up to 15 remote controls, added from a previously recognized one, from the motor itself, or after a power on. This feature ensures that multiple users or replacement remotes can be easily accommodated.
Wired Pushbutton Compatibility: It comes with standard connectivity for a single wired pushbutton and optional connectivity for a double pushbutton.

The JE50R4SH radio motor provides a seamless ‘plug & play’ operation once the first emitter is learned. If your roller shutter has stoppers on its final slat (seen or hidden) and rigid springs, the upper and lower stopping points can be performed automatically. This feature allows the motor to adapt to your roller shutter even during renovation work. After reaching maximum opening and closing positions three times, it records these positions as the stopping points.
Moreover, the JE50R4SH motor creates three automatic intermediate positions. In addition to a user-preferred point easily set from the remote control. You can also manually adjust end limits if needed. This offers users the freedom to customize the operation of their roller shutters effortlessly.
